Compensation:$70,000 - $90,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them
- Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions
- Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements
- Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines
- Implement effective follow-up strategies to maintain consistent communication with clients from initial inquiry to loan closure
- Keep clients informed about the progress of their loan applications, providing updates on milestones, requirements, and any necessary documentation
- Proactively address any issues or challenges that may arise during the loan approval process, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a loan office
License and Certifications:
- Possession of a valid mortgage loan originator (MLO) license as required by state regulations
Sales and Follow-up Abilities:
- Proficiency in sales techniques to identify potential clients and convert leads into successful loan applications
- Effective follow-up skills to maintain communication with clients throughout the loan approval process
Attention to Detail:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loan documentation and processing
- Ability to review and analyze financial documents and ensure compliance with regulations
Customer Service Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the loan process
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
