Expectations during shift:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Perform daily cleaning and opening duties as required
- Assist with food preparation and cooking when needed
- Fulfill a food order, as well as a coke order and a supplies order
-In charge of cash handling, counting drawers and ensuring there is enough money in the petty cash and drawers to get through the day
-Scheduling may be a task (TBD)
Qualifications we look for:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of shift management and restaurant operations
- Proficiency with Toast POS system or similar point-of-sale software
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures (food handlers required, we will expect you to get a ServSafe Certificate once hired if you do not already have one)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
What you can expect:
-Morning/afternoon shift, working as a hands on shift lead, crafting burgers to our standards while overseeing the team and ensuring product that is going out follows standards.
-Shift starting from 10 am and ending around 4-5. 5-7 hour shifts Tuesday through Saturday. Full availability Fridays and Saturdays preferred.
