MONTECITO, CA – A fun and busy family in Montecito with two boys ages 11-months and 4-years old, is seeking an experienced NANNY/HOUSEKEEPER for their home. The job is FULL-TIME being 5-days a week, 7-hours per a day (the family is flexible on which days and hours). The hourly rate being offered is between $25-$30/hr. They do have 3 friendly dogs in the home. Must be Covid-19 vaccinated. The job starts May 2024.This is a wonderful job for someone who loves children and also likes helping around the home when the parents are with the kids. The job is part Nanny and part Housekeeper (not both at the same time though), and mainly housekeeping. The house is 3,000 square feet so not too big for one person. Basic housekeeping duties include cleaning in the living areas, cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning the kitchen, washing and drying dishes and putting them away, changing bed linens, washing, folding and ironing clothes, cleaning interior windows, removing garbage and recycling, restocking personal items, general tidying of rooms such as toys, running errands for the family, and occasionally preparing meals for the family keeping track of cleaning supplies.Nanny duties include creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children, bathing and dressing the children, changing diapers and potty-training, children’s laundry, planning meals, preparing food, and/or feeding the children, arranging playdates and outings, indoor and outdoor play, educational activities and crafts, carpooling or driving the children to school, activities, or playdates, reading to the children, organizing bedrooms/toys, and administering medicine with parents’ consent, if necessary.The Dad speaks Spanish and although it's not a requirement, they'd love someone who can also speak Spanish to the children, so that's a bonus! The kids are adventurous, busy, social and chatty, they love playgrounds and other outdoor activities, and high energy. Must have infant, toddler, and grade school experience with children, and also a strong background in housekeeping, a strong knowledge of child development (ages/stages), be pet friendly, and know how to drive safely and have a good driving record.This is a very sweet family looking to hire their next long-term Nanny/Housekeeper who can be a part of their family.
