Job Summary and Qualifications1. Observes monitors and documents rhythms, strips, documents patient movement and interactions. Communicates and redirects patients as needed.
2. Maintains telemetry equipment, monitors and supplies.
3. Effectively communicates with all team members including care providers, families and patients.
5. Serves as preceptor for new staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Required: High school graduate or GED Equivalent required.
Preferred: Completion of basic EKG/Arrhythmia course and successful completion of Monitor Tech examination.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Working knowledge of basic rhythms and arrhythmias.
Preferred: Previous experience as CMT/Cardiac Tech or Monitor Tech
