Job Summary and Qualifications

The employee is responsible for providing professional clerical, non-clinical services and Cardiac Monitoring functions for the remote telemetry monitoring for certain ICU/Medical/Surgical patients. The focus of the role is to manage information and provide services including cardiac monitoring functions that enhance the quality of patient care and the environment in which the staff and physicians work. The Unit Secretary/Monitor Technician functions as a member of the patient care team.

Position Requirements:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS)- American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Previous telemetry monitoring and unit clerk experience preferred.
