Our team in Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Mold Press Operator on 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm) to support Paint/Shot/Mold Department.You will report to the Processing supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in Torrance, CA.
To be considered for the Mold Press Operator role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
High School Diploma or GED
Able to read blueprints and specification requirements.
Able to work with dimensions/tolerances and use the proper Jigs, Dies, Templates and Shop Aids.
Able to clean and maintain all fixtures, molds and presses.
Basic knowledge of adhesives, rubber and other elastomeric compounds and their application and usage.
Basic knowledge of all sizes and types of molds to use, as well as the set-up operation.
Basic knowledge of environmental and safety requirements.
Requires dexterity in all phases of molding operations from masking to trimming. FAA Safety Sensitive position; must meet FAA's drug and alcohol testing program requirements
This position require access to export controlled information.

Salary Range:
The base pay range for this opportunity is $25.60 per hour
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.
