A Successful Candidate will have the following skills / qualifications:
- A demonstrated understanding of standard injection mold equipment repair procedures and practices, and accustomed to working with tight tolerance molding.
- A demonstrated understanding of the welding techniques used in injection mold equipment repair process
- A demonstrated understanding of manual and powered hand tools, inspection tools and gauges associated with the mold repair process, and their practical application
- A proven understanding of injection mold assembly procedures and operational setup.
- Application of 5S in work cells and how it supports standard work in injection mold repair department
- Welding experience with both steel and aluminum, using multiple techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick.
- Candidate must demonstrate knowledge and ability to use a variety of manual machines, including mills, lathes, drill motors, and presses.
- Candidate should have experience in programming and running CNC machinery.
- Candidates will be tested (written and hands-on evaluations) for each of the skills listed above.
