Job Description: Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our compassionate team. As an essential member of our special education department, you will play a vital role in supporting students' functional abilities and independence.
- Full Time; 37.5 Hours/Week
- Hourly Rating:$45+ (Depending on experience and qualification)
- W-2 Employment Contract for onsite positions
- Caseload: Elementary| Modest caseload size
- Full time employees are eligible for benefits
A Day in the Life as an Occupational Therapist: In this role, you will conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve students' participation in school activities. You will collaborate with teachers and support staff to promote students' functional skills and support their academic success.
Qualifications to be an Occupational Therapist:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
