Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, medical history, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement treatment plans: Create personalized treatment plans based on assessments, incorporating various therapeutic techniques and modalities to address patients' specific needs and goals.
• Provide physical therapy interventions: Administer hands-on treatments, exercises, therapeutic activities, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, coordination, and overall physical functioning.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans: Regularly assess patients' progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document changes to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate and instruct patients: Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises, activities, and strategies to promote self-management and improve overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation: Complete necessary documentation, such as progress notes, treatment records, and other required paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals: Coordinate care and communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
• Stay updated on industry trends: Stay informed about advancements in the field of physical therapy, evidence-based practices, and relevant regulations to enhance professional knowledge and maintain clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a valid and active physical therapy license in the state where they will be providing services.
