- Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples from patients
- Adhere to proper techniques and protocols for blood sampling
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the phlebotomy process
- Accurately record and document patient information, including vital signs, in electronic medical records
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service throughout the blood collection process
- Process and prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing
- Follow laboratory procedures for specimen collection, handling, and processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy equipment and work area
```Skills```
- Proficient in phlebotomy techniques and blood sampling procedures
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and interpretation
- Familiarity with hospital or clinical settings and protocols
- Strong patient care skills, including the ability to provide compassionate and professional service
- Understanding of human physiology and anatomy relevant to phlebotomy procedures
- Experience in specimen collection processing and handling
- Familiarity with medical terminology used in laboratory procedures
