SalaryA fast-growing clinical laboratory is looking for an experienced Phlebotomist. The suitable candidate must have at least 2 years of experience working in a professional environment.
Collection of lab specimens, venipunctures, and PCR testing in a variety of different settings. Strong phlebotomy as well as patient bed side manner skills are required to be successful in this position.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Must have a minimum of two years of experience in successful and difficult venipuncture.
- Experience with servicing patients in their home, home health, or hospice
- Be able to correctly identify patients and draw needs.
- Must be able to identify and select correct blood draw tubes.
- Data Entry
- Keeping office and lab area clean
- Performing other office duties as assigned
- The job requires handling clinical specimens
Candidate must have:
- Experience in phlebotomy
- Must have good communication and writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Detailed oriented
- Experience in a clinical lab or doctors office is preferred
