Job Description
- The selected candidate will work independently from fully equipped service vehicle including a smart phone, computer diagnostic equipment, air compressor, air welder/generator, A/C recovery machine, lifting and supporting devices, safety equipment and all supplies and parts necessary to complete assigned work.
- The selected candidate will perform scheduled repairs with a well-thought out approach, adhering to industry best practices and all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair and maintenance for medium and heavy duty trucks, trailers and equipment including all major vehicle systems: engine, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, and computer diagnostics;
- Operate a fully equipped and functional mobile service vehicle, delivering service to customer locations throughout the greater Houston area.
- Respond throughout the day to different tasks as dictated by the changing demands and needs of the business;
- Able and flexible to work an average of 8-10 hours per week of overtime
- Highly proficient in troubleshooting and computer diagnostics
- Strong independent work ethic and responsible character
- Punctual, reliable, and positive attitude
- Advanced aptitude and ability to perform diagnostics and repairs
- Minimum 2years' experience as Diesel Mechanic / technician
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record and responsible and reliable to handle / manage company's assigned items, including but not limited to company credit card.
- High school or equivalent
