Day in the life
- Provide strategic direction and vision for the Mobile Crisis Team program, aligning it with the organization's overall mission and goals
- Develop, maintain, and implement policies, procedures, and protocols for crisis intervention and assessment, ensuring they adhere to best practices and relevant regulations
- Collaborate with other mental health service providers, community agencies, and emergency services to ensure coordinated care and effective crisis response within the region
What you need to apply
- Master’s degree in Human Services field
- Professional licensure in the State of Michigan as one of the following: LMSW, LPC, or LLP
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in treating or working with persons with mental illness
- Supervisor experience preferred
- Valid MI driver’s license and clean driving record
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification of one of the following:
- CAC-R Certified Addiction Counselor IC&RC Reciprocal
- CAAC Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor
- CCDP Certified Co-occurring Disorder Professional
- CCDP-D Certified Co-occurring Disorder Professional Diplomat
- Experience providing crisis intervention services
- Experience with broad range of age groups and disabilities, including children
- Experience with persons with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorder
- CCS-M or CCS-R Standard met for Child Mental Health Professional
- Certification of one of the following:
