Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Facility Manager manages and provides oversight to the integration of two facilities groups that include minor/O&M renovation services, and base services necessary to support operations. In the absence of the Facility Manager, an appropriate designee with the same authorities must be onsite to support facilities requirements.
- Manage ATLAS Government facilities to include providing support team and technical management for all facility tasks
- Establish a prioritized list and implement schedule for all base services and minor renovations in concert with Government management team
- Ensure customer requirements are met and completed to customer satisfaction on time and within budget
- Support Government in planning and evaluation of customer requirements
- Support Government in planning O&M activities to include infrastructure improvements and recapitalization
- Provide oversight to ensure key performance measures are collected and reported from each facility area
- Attend meetings with building owner representatives, tenants, and GPOCs to discuss facility issues, coordinate major projects and facility functions, build team relationships and prioritize action items
- Promptly report any identified anomalies with base building and Government Furnished Property systems to the facilities GPOC
- Develop emergency procedures and create an essential personnel ready team to assist in emergencies including, but not limited to weather-related actions, mission-critical activities, and security incidents
- Provide accurate ‘as built/red lines’ to the A&E contractor
- Submit outage request at least ten (10) working days prior to the planned outage to the Facilities GPOC and building owner for approval. Outages include any planned electrical, chilled water, fire alarm and spring work or other interruption of utilities, and interruption of alarm systems, security systems or traffic flows
- Notify the Facilities GPOC at least 10 working days in advance of scheduled work orders that could potentially cause disruption of facilities operations. Notification shall include the type of work to be performed, estimate amount of risk to operations, and include the estimated completion date. The government will be the final adjudicator of mission impact
- Support the Government in strategic planning, developing partnership, and collaboration to continually present integrated solutions across the facilities team, the contract, all stakeholders, and customers while seeking, quantifying, and demonstrating efficiencies
- Develop, maintain, and monitor metrics to track the impact and progress of efficiency and quality improvements, including addressing customer satisfaction results
- The Facility Manager, or their approved designees, must be present during the business hours of 0600-1800. After normal business hours or during weekends, Facility Manager or their approved designees shall be physically present within two (2) hours of notification of an incident requiring emergency response, if and when an emergency situation occurs and shall be available for contact by telephone 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (24/7), including holidays.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or General) and 5 years’ recent experience in facility management
- Experience supporting a facility of similar size and complexity
- Experience leading diverse teams (professional and trades) is desired
- Professional Project Manager Certification preferred
- Experience with MAXIMO is desirable
- Demonstrated basic understanding and familiarization with the following:
- AutoCAD
- Construction Management
- Building operations and management
- Project management, related to facilities operations
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, maintenance (i.e., carpentry, painting, masonry) and other general trades
Clearance:
- TS/SCI required to start. Ability to get a Full Scope Poly clearance
- US Citizenship is required.
