Mobile App Developer

We are seeking a talented Mobile App Developer to provide technical expertise for a crucial program focused on the development, modernization, enhancement, operation, and maintenance of mission-critical systems for DHS/CBP. The ideal candidate will possess a robust mix of technical and communication skills, necessary for troubleshooting application issues and applying preventative measures.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems.
• Participate in all software development lifecycle phases, including estimation, design, coding, and testing.
• Utilize your Mobile App Development expertise to recommend the best designs based on customer objectives, time constraints, and resources.

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years; or 4 additional years of experience instead of a degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in Mobile development (Android/iOS).
• Strong skills in Front-end Mobile and Back-end RESTFUL API development.
• Proficient in JAVA, Node JS, NoSQL, and SQL databases.
• Solid application testing discipline.
• Experience with Google’s Flutter engine, Dart language, and similar frameworks.
• Creative thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Postgres, Springboot, SQL, Kafka, MySQL, Struts, Hibernate, Java, JSF, Swing, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular/React.
• Familiarity with software design patterns, and issue/problem tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and development practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with DevOps frameworks.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and the ability to maintain/obtain a CBP Background Investigation.
