Nurse Patient Ratio: Days - 1:4/5 Nights - 1:6
Patient Age Groups: Adolescent, Adults, Geriatric, Outpatient
Top Diagnosis/Procedures: Cardiac Cath- Left and Right, PCIs, CTOs, Pacemaker Insertion, Cardioversion, Watchman, TEE, DVT, PE, EP Ablations
Common Medications used on the unit: Midazolam, Fentanyl, Aspirin, Nitroglycerin, Amioderone, Hydralazine, Lidocaine, Heparin, Plavix, Angiomax, Brilinta, Effient, Cangrelor, Integrelin, Optiray, Vancomycin, Ancef
Common Equipment: Impella, Rotablator, Shockwave, IVUS, Manifold, CSI, Laser, IABP, IFR, Acist
Vasoactive Drip Titration Required: Epinephrine, Levophed, Phenylephrine
8-hours of continuing education in Acute Coronary Syndrome (Client) yearly - we can offer this upon starting if needed.
