The Mixer Operator is the primary backup to the Mixer Lead and is responsible for the Mixer Lead's duties when thet are not present. Additional duties include producing bulk products for further processing at a later time. Normal shift starts at 4am and ending is based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
Operate mixing equipment to blend ingredients according to recipes and production specifications - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and sanitary work area - Weigh and measure ingredients accurately - Monitor mixing process to ensure proper consistency and quality - Adjust mixing time, speed, and temperature as needed - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow - Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling procedures - Perform basic math calculations for ingredient measurements - Utilize forklift to transport ingredients and finished products
Skills:
Experience in the food industry, preferably in a mixing or culinary role - Proficiency in operating a forklift and following forklift safety protocols - Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations - Basic math skills for accurate measurement of ingredients - Ability to use knives and other tools to fabricate and cook ingredients - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and production specifications - Understanding of sanitation practices and ability to properly clean and sanitize equipment.
