Mixer Operator (3Rd Shift 9Pm -5Am Sunday - Thursday) - Abilene, Ks

ADM Animal Nutrition, Inc., a fully-owned subsidiary of Archer Daniels Midland Company and national manufacturer of livestock feed, has an opening for a 3rd shiftMixer Operator at the Abilene, KS ADM Animal Nutrition facility. Typical hours are 9:00 pm – 5:00 am Sunday - Thursday. This position will be responsible for the operation of processing machinery as assigned including, but not limited to mixer and associated equipment

• Operate processing equipment following established standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate operations with other operators to ensure quality procedures are followed through the systems.
• Comply with all safety programs and procedures.
• Complete basic equipment cleaning, maintenance and lubrication as required. Report equipment malfunctions or process deviations to Supervisor.
• Complete daily operator reports.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area by following established housekeeping program.
• Assess inventory to ensure proper delivery to customers.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
• Ability to drive a forklift
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Accuracy in performing duties.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 55 lbs on a regular basis
• Basic computer skills
• Strong safety and math aptitude
• Strong attention to detail with ability to work effectively as a team member
