Come join our expanding team! Arrow is growing and we're looking for full-time Mitigation Technician (entry level).
We are seeking a team player with the ability to respond to emergency calls that primarily result due to water loss and flooding. This position will include water removal, demolition of damaged property, as well as equipment setup and project monitoring. We are looking for a positive and punctual individual with passion to help people get their lives back to normal following a disaster. You will be working in a team environment under instruction of a lead. Career growth potential within the department (example: team lead) and within the company.
This position is full-time, 40 hours per week plus overtime when needed with the opportunity for after-hours and hazard pay wage (for qualifying jobs). Training is fully paid. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Receive/review work orders or job orders every morning.
- Ensures vehicle is properly stocked with the proper supplies and equipment needed for the day.
- Finding and stopping the water source.
- Water extraction.
- Setting up drying & dehumidifier equipment.
- Moving items (property) to prevent further damage.
- Demolition – Removal and disposal of wet/damaged building materials.
- Collection of required documentation (example: photographs, moisture meter readings, etc.).
Experience and Skills:
- Experience in carpet cleaning, mitigation, or restoration work preferred but not necessary. Willing to train the right person.
- Experience working from a work van or truck a plus.
- Effective communication skills with customers, employees, and management.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic math skills.
Physical Demands:
- Lift (constantly) 5-20 lbs., lift (frequently) 20-60 lbs.
- May involve significant stand/walk/ push/pull.
- Occasional climbing (ladders, etc.), balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat.
- Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent.
Pay:
Starting at $17 – $19, DOE. 90-day review. Increased hourly wage (hazard pay) based off job type (example: trauma, mold, on-call, etc.). PPE provided.

Schedule:
- 40 - 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically 7:30am through 5pm (may slightly vary depending on travel distance)
- Rotating on-call schedule (for afterhours emergencies which includes weekends)
- Occasional Over-nights (hotel room paid, per diem offered)
Education:
- High school or equivalent
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work
