MiTek Suite Specialist

The position is full time and based in Sanford, FL. Pay Rate Or Compensation Will Be Determined Based Off Of Experience!

The MiTek Software Specialist would be working directly with a company that offers new construction builds for residential clients as well as manufactures trusses for residential new construction. 

MiTek has an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, detail-oriented, BIM modeler with 3D modeling experience and great people skills. In this position you will collaborate with and be an integral part of a team that designs and manufactures complex structures for new construction.

This position works to generate 3D BIM models, approval documents for customer review, and fabrication drawings for the manufacture of various structures. Working within a collaborative team, this position is responsible to set up and manage new and existing models, incorporate revisions based on customer and engineering input, coordinate with office personnel to meet customer needs, and provide support to manufacturing to ensure projects go smoothly.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Must have experience or skill in:  Architectural, Design, Construction or related field or equivalent experience with 3D modeling.
• Ideally candidate will have at least 1 year of experience using 3D modeling software to model structures.
• Strong 3D visualization skills
• Strong structural modeling skills
• Ability to read and understand construction documents in both 2D and 3D.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Working knowledge of MiTek Software, Microsoft Windows and Office applications
• A highly motivated, proactive approach with a willingness to take on new challenges.
• The ability to take on multiple assignments and prioritize based on customer needs.
