ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

POSITION SUMMARY: This role has multi-levels of responsibility in providing support services for the Executive Pastor of Ministries and limited support for the Outreach Ministry of Trinity. In addition, being in a position to learn and grow in all ministry areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPPORT
- Organize and manage administrative activities for the ministry needs of the Executive Pastor of Ministries. Receipts and light duties for Love Lubbock. Duties include data entry, phone calls, calendars, visitors, emails, reports, accounting responsibility, errands, event registration, processes and procedures.
- Touchpoint (church database) superuser. This includes data entry, weekly reports/rosters.
- Establish and maintain calendar entries and whereabouts for EPM
- Assist with administrating and coordinating all events and activities connected to EPM. This includes event promotion, registration, deposits, tracking of attendees, budget, vendor contact, supplies, calendaring, and reminders for supporting pastors.
- Prepare and send out notices for meetings, and prepare agenda items and materials.
- Monitor requests and follow-up with marketing/media, facilities, AVL, etc. Master Calendar, and Espace and know how to utilize and enter information in each one.
- Support team with social media and proofing as needed: newsletters, emails, marketing, promotional materials, etc.
MINISTRY GROWTH
- Grow and learn to preach and teach in all ministry areas supported by Executive Pastor (Generations, Trinity Life, Love Lubbock, Mens, Groups, Deacon ministry)
- Support Outreach ministry during large events: This includes moving product, hooking, moving, hauling the Love Lubbock trailer. For this, candidate is required to have a valid DL.
- Ability and aptitude to learn and grow biblically, in ministry, professionally, in leadership through hands on learning, and resources provided by Trinity (coaching, CCL, books)
- Assist EPM with ministry research and provide reports.
- This residency position should be viewed as a leader in training for a pastoral role one day.
- Engage during weekly services connecting with attendees.
- Learn to disciple leaders and volunteers.
- Help organize and promote spiritual weekly activities.
- Help support the Vision, Mission, and Values of Trinity Church; and commit to grow in personal discipleship through: classes, groups, prayer, giving of tithes and offerings
- Must be a member/become a member of Trinity Church.

QUALIFICATIONS: 2-3 years related work experience and proven ability of strong administration skills. High-school diploma required. Some college preferred. Prefer experience with non-profit organizations. Combination of experience and education may be considered. Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects; attention to detail; computer proficiency a must. Strong communication skills and flexibility/versatility to work with many different personalities. Must be able to take direction, be assertive and motivated to work independently without direct
oversight. Best candidates will be those that exhibit a servant’s heart.
Must be skillful at leading others through influence. A positive, welcoming attitude is key for the entire Dream Team. Modeling through engaging conversation, attention to each person, and energy will set the tone for the entire team. Being confident to step into a role with responsibility ensuring volunteer positions are fully staffed requires high attention to detail throughout the year.
