SUMMARY OF POSITION

Kinsley Materials is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Mill Utility Laborer for our limestone grinding filler plant. This essential role involves the operation and maintenance of the filler plant, ensuring smooth operations and optimal output. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and adaptable to various tasks within the plant environment.


TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Operate filler plant, overseeing start-up and shutdown procedures, including milling and drying operations.
  • Support daily routine maintenance tasks, such as conducting inspections, performing oil/grease/lubrication duties, executing general repairs, changing standard wear parts, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Load bulk trucks and manage ticketing processes.
  • Collect and run samples as required.
  • Assist with major maintenance issues as necessary.
  • Support the packaging plant when necessary.
  • Perform other related functions as needed.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and physical.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Must be capable of lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Adherence to Kinsley’s safety policies and procedures.
