Department: Roller mill, Barn, and Maintenance
Location: Traver, CA
Pay: $22.50
Summary
To perform Semiskilled labor regarding all aspects of Roller mill, barn, receiving and maintenance.
Essential Functions:
- Cover Roller Mill operators during their lunch or any days off
- Cover Loader operators during their lunch or any days off
- Cover Receiver operators during their lunch or any days off
- Assist in completion of maintenance work to maintain production
- Maintain required documentation associated with The Roller Mill
- Maintain required documentation associated with the loader Position
- Maintain required documentation associated with the receiver Position
- Operate all process equipment including Forklift, Track mobile, Locomotive, Loader and Man Lift
- Climb ladders up 120 feet to assist with maintenance
- Unloading Railcars
- Help fill in throughout plant where help is needed
- Perform general housekeeping of production areas to meet OSHA standards as well as a safe and clean working environment
Additional Functions:
- Assist maintenance with PM’s (dallies, weeklies, and monthlies)
- Assist Maintenance with projects
- Perform other duties and/or special; projects as assigned
- Operating the Roller Mill
- Operating The Receiving area
- Forklift operation and Heavy machinery experience desired.
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Perform basic computers operations using Windows, Word and Excel
- Work in confined spaces and at high elevations up to 120 feet
- Perform daily safety inspections and identify safety hazards
- Work flexibly and varying work schedules including on-call, weekends holidays and overtime as needed
- Perform mathematical problems (add, subtract, multiply and division)
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers
- Follow written and verbal instructions and problem solving
- Complete written work orders legibly and keep records of PM’s

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent standing for long period of time
- Frequent bending, squatting and kneeling.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 75 pounds up to 120 feet.
- Frequent grasping, holding and reaching.
- Constant use of overall vision
- Frequent hearing and talking in person; may be required to wear ear protection or hear in noisy conditions.
- Frequent co-worker contact; occasional working alone
- Frequent exposure to loud noise
- Work may be performed inside or outside in hot and cool temperatures and a noisy environment.
- May be exposure to loud noises and steam exhaust, and dusty, muddy and slick environment.
- Adhere to all PPE Guidelines as established by OSHA and the company.
