Objective
This positions oversees the daily operation, set-up, and sanitation of all bottling equipment.
Compensation
This a an hourly paid position, scheduled as a 5 day work week (Monday through Friday) and 40 hours per week; flexibility in your schedule is essential. A typical start time is 5AM.
Requirements
- Required to have basic math skills (multiply, percentage, ratios, addition, subtraction, divide)
- Must have good personal hygiene
- Must have excellent communication skills and connects well with other people
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Problem solve for the good of the company
- Flexible and works well with change
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills
- Cleaning experience helpful, but not required
- Being mechanically inclined will help, but not required
- Production line work helpful, but not required
- Pallet jack experience helpful
- This is a very physical job that requires frequent lifting, bending, and standing on concrete
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operations, set-up, and switch over of filler equipment. This includes fine-tuning the settings on the filler according the package size you are running.
- Operations and set-up of dater and labeler. Making sure that the correct code date and label are present on every package.
- Know how to properly clean machinery between flavors and at the end of the day.
- Switchboard operation. You must make clear decisions when moving any of the toggles.
- Stock packaging.
- Assist in maintaining the quality of our products by checking the fill level, texture, weight, package cleanliness, and package printing.
