This is a great opportunity to work on the latest technologies with a leader in this industry. You will visit many different customer locations, mostly in the Midwest. You also have full responsibility for your local region of customers.

Your responsibilities as a field service technician include:
- New system installations (CDI Laser engraving and XPS UV exposure systems)
- Train our customers in equipment use and operator maintenance
- Electrical, mechanical and optics repairs
- Application Software upgrades
- Preventative maintenance
Ideal profile:
- You have some formal education in electronics or mechanics, military technical training or experience repairing industrial/commercial equipment.
- Electrical skills: you understand signal flows, connection diagrams, multi/voltmeter, oscilloscope, relays, AC/DC, encoders, stepper and servo motors
- Mechanical skills: you are able to assemble components, do fine adjustment work on mechanical parts and optics.
- Computer skills: you have a good understanding of PC hardware, Windows operating system and basic networking. You are comfortable replacing computer parts such as hard drives, power supplies, network/video cards and able to install device drivers,
- Hands-on, customer-oriented and able to work independently
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver over, under and around printing equipment.
- Typically all work and travel will be between 7am - 7pm
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday (99%)
- Overtime
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Field service or repair: 2 years (Preferred)
- Up to 40% overnight travel (Required)
- Typically by car covering all Wisconsin, backup to Illinois
- Occasionally by air covering continental USA
- 90% traveling or at customer locations
- 10% is home office being idle or doing admin tasks
