RMC is seeking a Military Operations Strategist with DoD TS-SCI w/ CI Poly clearance for an in-office role within the Columbia, MD area.

Military Operations Strategist

Position Summary

Utilize expertise to apply advanced military principles, theories, and planning concepts to provide concepts to provide program analysis or planning oversight of the C4 Systems Directorate activities. This individual will also contribute in developing strategies, conducting sophisticated technical research, and ensuring proficiency in supporting military requirements for the entirety of the C4 Systems Directorate. This position conducts multifaceted analysis and management of resources to ensure sustainability for implementation into Directorate operations and planning. Contribute to the development of exercise scenarios, exercise operational plans as well as conduct research of current and emerging threats to the U.S. Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR). Develop and integrate cyberspace capabilities into deliberate, contingency operations, and crisis action planning.


Essential Functions

  • Participate in Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and Operational Planning Groups/Teams (OPG/OPTs).
  • Provide input to address shortfalls, prioritize and validate requirements, and be prepared to modify development planning efforts.
  • Provide input for the development of TTPs, CONOPs, COAs and other related documents related to OCO, DCO, and the securing, operating, and defending of the DODIN.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelors Degree in related field.


Required Certifications and Licenses

  • CGRC, CAP, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, or CCISO

Desired Skills/Qualifications

  • JPME


Requirements - Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for clearance level required for the job.

  • Security Clearance: Currently holds a DoD TS-SCIW/ CI Poly Clearance.
  • Work Environment Compliance: Commitment to maintaining a drug-free work environment, U.S. Citizenship, and possession of a valid state driver's license.
