Milieu Manager

The Milieu Manager is responsible for providing patient centered care for all clients. The Milieu Manager works collaboratively with the program director to assign daily staffing for all RAs and Lead Recovery Advocates. The Milieu Manager ensures all staff are present and in appropriate area prior to the start of their shift. The Milieu Manager works directly with the clients to promote a cohesive milieu. In addition, the Milieu Manager acts as the liaison between the clinical team and the Recovery Advocates.

Essential Functions:

· Provides all duties of a Recovery Advocate and Lead Recovery Advocate

· Maintains safety in the milieu using prevention and de- escalation techniques

· Ensures patient status and progress of patient is documented in the EMR per program guidelines. Ensures appropriate charting is completed by the end of each shift. Completes regular audits of the client documentation for quality assurance

· Communicates changes in client behavior/demeanor to appropriate staff

· Provides assistance in a crisis situation

· Assists with monitoring programming for compliance and improvement opportunities

· Provides assistance in crisis situation

· Must be able to take on-call shifts

· Ensures documentation is complete and filled out accurately by the RAs

· Trains and supports peer staff in development of individual and group intervention skills. Conducts all staff meetings and Lead Recovery Advocate meetings for the purpose of training and staff development

Requirements: Must possess a high school diploma. Bachelor's degree preferred in a helping profession. Previous experience working with clients in a mental health setting a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
