Responsibilities & Duties:
- Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications
- Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assembly
- Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools
- Testing the strength of each join during and after project completion
Education:
- High school graduate or GED
Experience:
- Previous MIG/Flux welding experience is required
- Must be able to pass a plate test (Overhead, Vertical, Horizontal & Flat)
- Blueprint reading is a plus!
Hours:
- 1st shift
- 6am – 4:30pm; Monday – Thursday
Pay:
- $22-24/hr depending on experience
