Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Production/Inventory Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Mesa, Arizona.

Position Responsibilities:

• Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.
• Monitors and analyzes work in process.
• Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems.
• Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure parts availability.
• Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
• Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
• Works under limited supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
• Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• More than 1 years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment?
• More than 1 years of experience working with various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes
• More than 1 years of experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and related equipment
• More than 1 years of experience working with supply chain strategies (e.g., inventory reduction, parts kitting, supplier consolidation, optimum flow, lead-time reduction)
• More than 1 years of experience with inventory management and material [requirements] planning systems?
• More than 1 years of experience with warehouse inventory (e.g. parts accuracy and accountability)

Typical Education/Experience:

High School diploma/GED and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Education (e.g. Vocational, Associate, Bachelor, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $46,750 - $57,750
