Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes Emergent Operation South Carolina (EOSC) is defining the future of emergent commercial aviation Manufacturing and is seeking a Numerical Control Programmer to join our growing Emergent Operation Quality team in North Charleston, SC.
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of CMM programming and part inspection in an industry-leading aviation manufacturing facility. You'll be a part of the team that ensures Emergent Operations is delivering a conforming product that establishes the foundation of a quality aircraft. You'll work to ensure quality across diverse cross-functional teams and directly support company initiatives around quality. In this role, you'll be programming and operating a Hexagon CMM operating in PC-DMIS.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides Numerical Control, machining and programming technical experience.
  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
  • Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.
  • Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
  • Works under general direction.

Work Authorization Statement:
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in programming in PC-DMIS.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in ENOVIA/ CATIA.
  • 1+ years of knowledge of reading/ interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Knowledge in interpreting engineering GD&T tolerances.

Typical Education/Experience:
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay Range Summary:

Mid-Level: $85,000- $115,000
