The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Mid-Level Manufacturing Planner located in Heath, OH. This position will have the opportunity to develop and implement production and tooling methodologies. The successful candidate will analyze the designs and resolve complex problems. Position Responsibilities Include:

• Develop, implement and maintain various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration
• Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives
• Develop and integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
• Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met
• Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements
• Manage tools from initial design to end of use disposition
• Investigate and resolves manufacturing related issues
• Perform producibility assessments for part or product designs
• Provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules
• Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
• Draft, update and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements
• Work under general direction
• Maintain HAZTRAX chemical system as a chemical reviewer and administrator
• Perform GIDEP (Government Industry Data Exchange Program) alert investigations and resolution

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Heath, OH.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Currently possess an Associate's degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures
• 3+ years of years of experience with electrical/mechanical manufacturing process and assembly sequencing
• 3+ years of experience in work instruction and/or manufacturing planning development

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with 3D Modeling tools
• Experience working documents such as Engineering/Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Lean Manufacturing and/or Root Cause Corrective Action

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 year's related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
