When it comes to environmental consulting, we are focused on cleaning up our communities today to improve tomorrow. We are looking for a mid-career Environmental, Civil or Geotechnical Engineer to work on environmental remediation projects in the Texas Gulf Coast area. You'll work with other engineers, scientists, and project managers on challenging projects while learning from senior engineers helping you grow your career in this critical role. This position can be based out of Freeport, Houston, Galveston or surrounding areas of Texas; however, a 50% commitment to work out of the Freeport office is required for this position.
Our team is seeking an emerging engineer who wants to be part of a large, interdisciplinary team. You'll apply your problem-solving skills to work both in the field and office. You'll contribute in data interpretation, remediation design, providing support during construction, report writing, proposal and cost estimate preparation, development of subcontractor job scopes and specifications, procurement of subcontractors, staff mentorship and leadership, client relationship building, agency correspondence, and coordinating field activities. Safety will be your priority, as you contribute to incident-free operations and maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety in everything you do. Each day, you'll have the opportunity to follow projects from concept development through the construction phase with our engineers.

5 years of experience as a Civil, Environmental or Geotechnical Engineer.
B.S. degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geological engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
Professional experience with various environmental projects (investigations, site development/restoration, data assessments, earthwork operations, and remediation systems/ technologies).
Professional experience in civil and geotechnical projects including landfill design/ inspections, slope stability, remedial alternatives, and interpretation of geotechnical, physical testing data, as well as analytical laboratory data.
Professional experience in methodology and procedures used in the environmental remediation industry, and a working knowledge of federal and State environmental regulations.
Ability to prepare technical reports for clients, state agencies, or other stakeholders.
Professional experience in field quality assurance and subcontractor oversight on civil earthwork projects.
Willingness to practice and promote health and safety leadership.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ideally you will also have:
6 to 10 years of experience as a Civil, Environmental or Geotechnical Engineer.
M.S. degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geological engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
Registration as Professional Engineer (P.E.), OR the willingness to obtain a P.E. shortly after hire in Texas and Louisiana.
Ability to interact and communicate successfully within a team, clients, and regulatory agencies.
40-hr HAZWOPER certification or the ability to attain this certification.
