Our firm is a well-established domestic relations law firm in the Oregon City, Oregon area. We specialize in divorce, custody, prenuptial agreements, and child representation. Our firm offers litigation, collaborative, and mediation services. We are a small, family-oriented firm. Our focus is providing quality legal services to those in our community. Our firm is growing quickly and we have more prospective cases than we are currently able to take on. We are seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join our team.A Juris Doctor and Oregon State Bar Admission is required. 5+ years of family law experience is preferred, though we are happy to train the right candidate for the job. Some amount of family law experience is required, though if you do not yet have 5 years we still welcome you to apply. You will be working under the supervision of our litigating partner, with the ultimate goal of managing your own caseload. Our firm operates as a team – all attorneys and staff communicate regarding cases. However, you will eventually be expected to manage your own full caseload as the responsible attorney. A successful mid-level Associate Attorney should be able to maintain our client relations and take direction while continuing to learn their legal style and master legal practice. Candidates who are interested in learning the ropes regarding collaborative law and mediation are encouraged to apply, we highly value these process options and would be happy to help train attorneys in these areas. Family law is an emotionally sensitive realm, for this reason we are looking for candidates who are patient, empathetic, and willing to give a bit of tough love when needed.
