Mid Cloud Engineer

Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid level Cloud Engineer to join our intel team.

Telework authorization is on an as-needed basis. Limited telework available on an ad hoc basis.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:  

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT field and six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering.  Ten (10) years of software development experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.  
• Four (4) years of experience in software development on systems utilizing cloud-related technologies 
   

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Experience with Java 
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation   
• Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting computer systems and software 
• Experience with agile development methodologies 
• Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS  
• Collaborate as a senior developer within a fast-paced and highly visible team environment of system administrators, software developers and a help desk.
• identify opportunities to upgrade or modify sustainment systems.
• Proactively implement necessary changes for operational effectiveness and responsiveness.
• Conduct requirements analysis for ongoing and upcoming software projects.
• Undertake software development tasks, including design and coding.
• Integrate new components into existing systems.
• Continuously evaluate and assess system performance.
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing systems.
• Address issues and ensure the ongoing reliability of systems.
• Participate in testing processes to validate the functionality and performance of developed software.

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Experience the with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira 
• Experience with IBM Sterling and/or Oracle
