Job Description
McKing Consulting Corporation is seeking a part-time, 30-hours per week, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint specialist. These professional services will be provided to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, Obesity (DNPAO), Extramural Budget Services Unit (EBSU). The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint. In addition, this professional will be expected to provide advanced features and functions of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint; and will be responsible for assisting with data analysis, creating complex formulas, developing automated processes, and generating reports/templates/pivot tables.
Contractor Task to Perform:
- Data entry and use of existing data to create financial and other reports.
- Design and develop customized Excel templates, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
- Implement advanced formulas, macros, to automate repetitive tasks.
- manipulate large data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct data analysis and generate meaningful insights using pivot tables, charts/graphs, and statistical functions to use in Microsoft PowerPoint, Share Point, or MS Power BI
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly reports/charts/graphs for management in Microsoft Excel and in PowerPoint
- Provide support on Excel best practices and efficient data handling techniques.
- Prepare reoccurring and special reports and presentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in working with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large data.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Can work independently and with a team, at a rapid/efficient pace.
