Responsibilities for Microbiology and Environmental Monitoring Scientist:
- Collect multiple samples for microbiology testing including water, surface, air, gas and personnel samples
- Conduct microbiology testing including bioburden, endotoxin, growth promotion, gram staining and sterility
- Assist in qualification and validation of clean room and manufacturing suites for production
- Evaluate conductivity and pH levels and relationships
- Assist in quarterly and annual reports including data trending
Technical Requirements for Microbiology and Environmental Monitoring Scientist:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical engineering, biology, microbiology, chemistry or related field.
- 2 years hands on experience with microbiological testing and/or environmental monitoring preferred
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment
- Excellent organizational skills and proven experience working in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits for Microbiology and Environmental Monitoring Scientist:
- Compensation: $55,000-$95,000, based on previous salary history and experience
