Founded in 2014, 374 Labs is an ISO 17025 independent laboratory in Sparks, NV. It services local and national clients for both food and nutraceutical/supplement testing.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Microbiology Analyst at 374 Labs located in Sparks, NV. The days to be worked are Thursday through Monday. The Microbiology Analyst will be responsible for testing and analyzing various microbiological samples and interpreting the results. The Microbiology Analyst will also maintain accurate records and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality control procedures are upheld. PCR and traditional plate methods are used. Experience with both methods is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field
• Experience in microbiology laboratory techniques, including culture, identification, and susceptibility testing
• Knowledge of sterilization methods and media preparation
• Experience with laboratory equipment, including autoclaves, incubators, and microscopes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards, including ISO and FDA guidelines
• Experience with environmental monitoring and water testing is a plus
• Ability to maintain data integrity and uphold confidentiality
• Must pass a background check and be over the age of 21 per state guidelines.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
