Responsibilities:
- Conduct Quantitative Microbiological testing and analysis on samples. Identification of Bacteria and Mold.
- Perform DNA extraction, and other molecular biology techniques.
- Utilize aseptic technique to maintain sterile laboratory conditions.
- Prepare and maintain Inventory of Laboratory Media and Reagents.
- Collect, record, and analyze data accurately and efficiently.
- Operate and Maintain Preventative Maintenance Schedule of Laboratory Equipment, including Calibration of Equipment.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Maintain Laboratory ISO 17025 Quality Requirements.
- Coordinate and Prioritize Daily Samples, Shelf Life and Stability Samples, Interpret Data. Maintain Stock Cultures. Manage Training and Proficency testing of Technicians.
.- Keep accurate records of experiments, results, and observations using the Electonic Laboratory Information System.
- Stay Current with advancements in Microbiology Analytical Tools,
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology or related field.
-Minimum 3 to 5 Years experience in a Microbiology Laboratory.
- Strong knowledge of Microbiology Principles, Techniques, and Methodologies. AOAC, USP and Standard Methods.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data organization and analysis.
- Ability to perform Isolation and Purity of Mixed Cultures for Analysis and Identification. Familiarity with DNA, PCR and ELISA Methods. Microscopy, Light Field, Dark Field and Phase Contrast.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording data and observations.
- Strong Critical Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with team members and present findings.
