The Universityof New Mexico Gallup Campus is seeking applicants for the Manager of SmallBusiness Development Center (SBDC). TheManager reports to the Chancellor, manages the planning, development, marketingand operation of the branch campus Small Business Development Center, whichprovides local small business development assistance and support in accordancewith the stated goals and objectives of the New Mexico Small BusinessDevelopment Center Network and the U.S. Small Business Administration, and inadherence to relevant State and Federal legislation, regulations, andguidelines.

Conditions of EmploymentMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Bilingual (Navajo/English, Zuni/English, or Spanish/English).
- Three (3) years experience providing economic development strategies to owners of small businesses and to individual considering starting a business.
- Previous small business ownership.
- Experiencewith various marketing techniques utilizing current technology.
