Vestis Investor Relations (IR) Manager
The primary operating objective of the IR program is to educate and inform investors and security analysts about the company's strategy, financials, and prospects to achieve a fair valuation relative to peers.
Reporting to the VP of Investor Relations and External Communications, the Investor Relations Manager is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the IR program, with a primary focus on the research and analysis, presentations and reporting to be used in interactions with the leadership team, shareholders, and the investment community.
The IR Manager will ensure the IR team and company leaders understand how the Company is positioned among its peers to effectively enable the development and communication of its strategic advantages to the investment community. The IR Manager will partner with the VP and build productive relationships across the organization and with the financial community.
The candidate will be well versed in all aspects of investor relations and be able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
Principle duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist VP in developing and communicating messaging around the company's operational and financial performance
  • Partner with the VP on investor outreach and communications as directed
  • Direct the analysis of sell-side earnings estimates by tracking and analyzing sell-side analyst models versus company forecast to highlight variances for message refinement
  • Manage the tracking of peer financial and operational performance relative to company performance to understand valuation differences and street perceptions
  • Manage the development of presentation materials for leadership on weekly, monthly, and quarterly market performance and changes in institutional ownership to keep management informed
  • Manage the targeting of investors and ongoing analysis of holdings
  • Assist with the gathering, analysis and preparation of data and information for quarterly earnings and other events such as sell-side conferences, road shows, facility tours and Analyst Day, including the presentation, Q&A and any documents required
  • Assist with the creation of Investor Relations Board updates and other supporting materials as required
  • Collaborate with Finance and various groups across the company such as Marketing and Operations to gather information about the business and to inform messaging, analysis, and the development of materials
  • Maintain the Investor Relations website and coordinate the posting of updates, collaborating with outside vendors and internal resources
  • Assist with the Annual Report, Annual General Meeting planning and creation of supporting materials
  • Complete ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements: Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business required, advanced degree, CPA or CFA a plus
  • 6+ years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience. Prior Investor Relations corporate, advisory or investment industry experience a plus
  • Experience conducting complex financial analysis
  • Initiative-taker with professional presence and ability to interact with senior management and investors
  • Attention to detail with superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
