The BAE Systems site in Anniston, Alabama is seeking a Quality Manager to support the M88 program.
In this role as a Quality Manager, you will manage the Quality team (6 direct reports) supporting this product line by assigning work, setting priorities and work schedules, evaluating employee performance, providing feedback, and supporting career development. As the Quality Manager, you'll promote cross-functional collaboration, develop and grow customer relationships, support the proposal process, and serve as a trusted business partner. You'll apply quality-related data and concepts to drive continuous improvement, present recommendations to management and customers, and influence decision making and process execution.

Required Skills and Education
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM related studies with eight (8) years' experience, or the overall equivalent experience &/or education in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering in a production environment and/or assembly;
- Leadership experience;
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, APQP methodologies, and process control;
- Proficient in structured problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis;
- Strong background in lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and effective stakeholder management;
- Analytical ability to analyze data and identify trends for process improvement;
- Proven ability to lead and facilitate lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects;
- Training and coaching skills to develop and enhance the capabilities of the team.
