Job Title – Manager, Acquisitions Marketing
General Responsibilities:
As the Manager, Acquisition Marketing, you will lead consumer acquisition efforts across digital, traditional and emerging marketing channels. You will be responsible for customer acquisition programs on marketplace platforms such as Google, Facebook, affiliates, Amazon, etc. In the role, you will drive a portfolio of marketing efforts that leverage your solid marketing acumen to drive prospects and consumers to purchase.
The successful candidate should demonstrate strong program results, consumer marketing expertise, business acumen and communication skills. This role works cross-functionally with a wide variety of stakeholders, including product marketing, digital sales, data analytics and external agency partners.
Responsibilities
Acquisition Marketing (CRM + Performance Media) – With a primary focus on revenue growth and optimized conversion from new consumers, expand cart strategies, and growth approaches that drive long-term consumer loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Create and scale paid media and CRM program strategies that cost-efficiently acquire new customers
- Serve as a product-category lead for marketing
- Establish and drive test and learn processes to scale our advertising budgets significantly over the next several years
- Manage partners that drive CRM and Performance media programs
- Understand and help drive sophisticated multi-touch analytics and reporting capabilities to measure progress towards LTV:CAC, ROAS goals
- Understanding of current consumer privacy practices, 1P data
- Develop media plans across marketing channels and monitor / optimize media buys for all performance marketing channels (Direct, Paid Social, Search, etc.)
- Deliver weekly and monthly report outs to optimize spend and share learnings between departments
- Partner with product team, marketing and digital sales teams to optimize direct marketing funnel through A/B testing (copy, creative, behavioral UX, audience segmentation)
- Own the marketing ‘acquisition’ technology stack (e.g. CRM systems, EF mobile app marketing, etc.) to support funnel performance and tracking against KPIs
- Clear briefing and ownership of the details (category, creative direction, media planning)
- Understanding and experience with brand transformation efforts
- Serve as expert in go to market and acquisition practices
- Digital channel expert for CLR Retail and customer discussions
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of marketing experience
- Experience within consumer-packaged goods industry or a market agency
Required Technical Competencies:
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Demonstrated competency in the principles of Acquisition Marketing
- Rich understanding of marketing practices (digital, retail and traditional channels)
- Deep comfort in test & learn marketing strategies
- Qualitative and quantitative marketing skills
- Formal Presentation Skills; experience presenting to upper management and retailers
- Demonstrated agency relationship management
