Position Overview:

We are looking for a Multifamily Counterparty Risk Management Senior Associate to join the Servicer Compliance group. This team within the Counterparty Risk & Compliance department reviews, monitors and reports on counterparty compliance and maintains the divisions ratings as both a Master Servicer and Special Servicer.
As a Counterparty Risk Management Senior Associate, you will evaluate Seller/Servicers' compliance to eligibility requirements in the Freddie Mac Multifamily Seller/Servicer Guide and to requirements set forth in Pooling & Servicing Agreements. Our Impact:
Our team is primarily responsible for:
  • Reviewing annual Seller/Servicer certifications to ensure continued eligibility
  • Monitoring custodial accounts and depository institutions
  • Processing organizational change notifications
  • Coordinating rating agency reviews for our role as Master & Special Servicer
  • Performing various risk mitigation activities including portfolio seizures and transfers of servicing
  • Ensuring accuracy of Seller/Servicer data in multiple systems

Your Impact:
In this role, you will be expected to:
  • Manage Custodial Account documents/reporting for Seller/Servicers
  • Conduct annual eligibility reviews of Multifamily Seller/Servicers
  • Perform background searches on counterparties and executives
  • Execute annual reviews of Seller/Servicers' corporate insurance policies and perform waiver analysis, if required
  • Review Monthly, Quarterly and Annual post-securitization reporting from Seller/Servicers
  • Process Seller/Servicer Change Notification forms
  • Update Seller/Servicer information in various Multifamily systems and applications
  • Respond to customer inquiries timely
  • Manage and distribute Welcome & Notice letters to Seller/Servicers for Multifamily securitizations

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of related professional work experience; experience in commercial real estate finance is a plus
  • Ability to perform precise routine daily administrative processes is critical
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work accurately on projects with specific and measurable due dates and goals

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $63,000 - $95,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
