SalaryThis position requires performing routine field work involving reading meters to record water consumption using a hand-held meter reading device. An employee in this classification drives to assigned routes and walks 7-9 miles (daily) to obtain readings from approximately 400-600 water meter locations. This work also involves using a meter stick to lift meter lids weighing 15-25 pounds at each location.
Salary: $16.80 - $24.00 Hourly

To Qualify
Minimum Qualifications.Applicants must:
- Possess a valid high school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Possess and continue to maintain a valid Driver License.
- Provide a personal motor vehicle for performance of assigned duties.
- Maintain an automobile insurance policy that meets the minimum requirements of liability established by the State of Florida for property damage and personal injury coverage for “business use”.
- Be able to work outdoors under varied weather conditions, walking numerous miles per day and perform frequent lifting and handling of materials weighing 15-25 pounds.
Desirable Qualifications.Preferred applicants:
- Possess a basic knowledge of computer technology and good customer service skills.
