Key Responsibilities:

• Operation of manual and automated media blast cabinets
• Operation of various chemical processes
• Inspection and ability to become a certified operator
• Moderate frequency of heavy lifting up to 50lbs
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Daily log upkeep
• Ability to work independently and or in a team environment
• Must meet established production goals
• Must meet Valor attendance requirements
• Maintain 97% throughput
• Maintain 4 or fewer reject tags per year
• Must achieve certified status on at least 1 process

Additional Responsibilities:

• Routine maintenance of equipment
• High frequency of gripping/reaching
• Manual dexterity is moderate
• Quality compliance testing and documentation
• Ability to communicate needs (materials, equipment, training) to supervisor or lead
• Good problem solving, organizational and recording skills

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder
• Must pass background check and appropriate drug testing
• English Proficiency
• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma/ GED or equivalent industry related experience
• Must be able to work in an environment containing devices that may interfere with the operation of a pacemaker (BSU 33/Building 3)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in metal finishing
