We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling stainless steel products according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Use various tools and equipment to cut, shape, and fabricate stainless steel components
- Weld stainless steel parts together using different welding techniques
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet required standards and specifications
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations related to metal fabrication
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication is required
