Automation Personnel Services is looking for Metal Fabrication Machine Operators for a company based in Kennesaw, GA. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as monitoring machines to ensure that the speed of the machine, load and output are accurate according to specifications, measure the output for uniformity, record and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel and other related duties as required.

Pay Rate 
$14 per hour for 1st shift.

$14.75 per hour for 2nd shift.

$15.50 per hour for 3rd shift.

Schedule and Hours 

Plenty of Overtime Opportunities!
1st shift: 6:45 am to 3:15 pm

2nd shift: 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm

3rd shift: 10:45 pm to 7:15 am

• Monitors up to 10 expanded metal machines to ensure output meets customer specifications.

• Regularly review the load and speed of the machines.

• Reviews actual output to ensure there are no deformities or discrepancies in the output.

• Measures actual output for width variance, thickness variance and other discrepancies.

• Work in partnership with quality assurance inspectors to review output.

• Reports any machine malfunctions to supervisor immediately.

• Load and/or unload material from machines.

• May use overhead crane to move material within the production department.

• May drive forklift to transport material within the production department.

Metal Fabrication Machine Operators Qualifications and Requirements 
• Previous Machine Operator experience required.

• Basic math skills-add, subtract, multiply, divide and use of decimals, fractions, and percentages.

• Speak, read, and understand English

• Read, understand, and use a measuring tape effectively.

• Read, understand, and use a caliper/micrometer effectively (desire, but not required)

• Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required.

• Understand and practice safety policy and procedures.

• Drug screening, background check and lifting assessments are required
