Metal welder and fabricator
Job Description: We will train - Learn a trade and new skills, clean and debur metal parts, assist press brake and plasma operators in loading and handling parts, grind and finish products, prep parts for painting, assist as needed throughout the shop. Work on unique and interesting steel and aluminum landscape products such as stormwater filtering planters, planter boxes, water features, and others in shop. We manufacture unique and innovative products for high end residential and commercial projects throughout North America.

Skills/Requirements
Architectural metal work experience required
· Work is full time, regularly 40 hours with options for overtime
· Immediate openings
· Transports materials, tools, and supplies.
· Maintains clean work area, machine, tools, and equipment.
· Safe operation of various shop tools and machinery once trained
· High level of quality, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, monitors own work to ensure quality
· Able to adapt to changes in work environment, changes approach to best fit the situation, and deal with change, delays, or unexpected events
· Is consistently at work and punctual
· High level of professionalism
· Good problem solving skills
· Selects equipment and plan layout, assembly, finishing
· Perform tasks such as grinding, fitting, finishing, general labor, etc.
· Reads and interprets blueprints, or product specifications, sketches to determine sequence and methods of fabricating and welding
· Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently
· Must be able to bend and stoop frequently
· Must have ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, verbal and written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
· Complies with all safety guidelines and procedures
· Pre-employment drug test and background check
Experience/Education
· No experience needed but any experience of sheet metal or miscellaneous steel and aluminum fabrication experience will be taken into consideration
· High school or equivalent education
· Experience with various shop equipment and handheld power tools preferred
