Job Description
We are looking for qualified, highly proficient working foreman to manage and oversee our steel Erection Crews erect pre-engineered Metal Buildings. Crew size may vary from 3 to 10 men. This is an onsite working position.
Job Duties:
- Must be able to read architectural plans in addition to following erection drawings and manufacturer’s installation manuals.
- Must be able to physically work, when necessary, as primary and secondary steel erector, roof, siding, and trim installer as well as supervise these activities.
- Efficiently delegate erection tasks to crew members and ensure they are performed safely and correctly.
- Ensure that Company safety policies and being followed during all onsite activities.
- Ensure that proper Company and personal tools are on site and in use by all workers.
- Teach less experienced workers the proper moves to make and sequences.
- From time to time may be asked to also assist in performing concrete, wood framing, or other construction work as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as part of a Metal Building Erection Crew or metal roof and siding installation crew is required.
- Must have knowledge of installing industrial and architectural standing seam roof systems.
- Preferred to have knowledge of installing insulated panels on walls and roofs.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in reading and understanding erection plans.
- Must be able to read and understand these qualifications. If you do not have the required experience, you will not be considered for the position.
- Must have your own hand tools, hard hat, work boots, etc.
- References to verify experience are required.
Job Locations: From Davis to Tahoe and from Chico to Modesto.

Schedule:
- 40 hour work week. Monday - Friday (7am - 4pm)
- Monday to Friday.
Education:
- High school or equivalent. (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Clean Driver's License
- Forklift certification
- Boom lift certification
- Scissor lift certification
