Key Responsibilities:
- The Merchandise Assistant provides administrative support to the Assistant Buyers and/or Buyers by executing plans as needed and/or required.
- This position is responsible for product data integrity, new item setup and partners with various stakeholders across the organization to identify and solve issues throughout the SKU life cycle.
- Primarily supports Merchants in day to day tasks. Responsible for data entry and maintaining product integrity with regards to pricing and authentication by using the applicable system(s).
- Responsible of all Sku set up and maintenance in systems.
- Providing regulatory submissions and approval tracking on products.
- Responsible for proofing all Marketing and Store collateral materials.
- Assisting with POG (Plan-O-Guides) as needed.
- Promo data entry (as needed).
- Process all coupon request and reward points.
- Provides additional support on various ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Responsible for price changes and markdowns.
- Responsible for vendor coops and contract creation.
- Responsible for proofing flyers and making any needed corrections.
- Creation of flyer spreadsheet each month.
- Communication to vendors via phone calls or email.
- Responsible for answering store inquiries by email and/or phone calls.
- Utilizing Athena software to input store tasks on a weekly basis.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years previous experience in retail / administration.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency in Excel.

- Ability to present and maintain a professional image and relationship with customers, vendors, and other departmental staff.
